Bookmarks is something like the directory tree showed on the left side of a PDF file when opened with a pdf reader, such as the most common used pdf reader Adobe Reader, it supports bookmarks for pdf file. Bookmarks is very useful, it helps the file editor to organize chapters, section and contents, helps reader to jump quickly to the desired section or page he or she is interested in. See below pictures showed bookmarks of a pdf file.
As we all know, CHM also has the directory tree on the left section, which helps reader to view and search content quickly, jumps to the desired article quickly. See below pictures showed directory tree of a chm file.

click PDF Setting button on main window.
check Add bookmarks(Same as directory tree in chm file) check box and Click Save button to save your setting.
Click Add file(s) button on main winow to add chm files that your want to convert.
Click Convert to start convet your chm to pdf.
OK,Now we got a pdf file with bookmarks successfully.
